School started back up again and having only a one week break between semesters is not nearly enough time but not much I can do about that. I've had one day of classes, figure drawing and book arts. I'm totally excited about book arts and totally freaking out about figure drawing this class scares me to death! Anyway I work in the mornings now on monday and wednesday so my classes don't start until 12:45 so i will have to keep you updated about them, they're mostly my boring classes, foundations (last ones I have to take, not more science after this!)
Anyway, life has been good, roommates are good, so I think this semester should be pretty good if anything else I'm hoping it is better then the last.

4 more days
I only have four more days left and I will be done with this semester! It's been a hard one, I've learned a lot, worked a lot, and have semi functioned on 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night for the past month. It definitely was not the semester I thought it was going to be and it definitely doesn't rank on my top 3 favorite semesters, maybe it ranks 4th? That's one good thing about semester each one is different. New roommates, new classes, new work schedule, and hopefully lots more sunshine! I'm definitely just as busy next semester with 3 studio classes (I only had 2 this semester) but I wont have classes or work on Friday, which will help out tons. Plus I have a trip to look forward to in June which will be great and keep me motivated to stay on top of class work so that I can take a couple of days off school. Anyway, I need to go back to studying but hopefully next week I will blog a little more maybe I will do really exciting things on my week off.

One More Semester Down
I Finished one more semester yesterday and the best thing about that is I only have one more science class until I no longer have to take any! You may think thats funny to be so happy about but when I transfered to BYU-ID the science classes I took at Utah State did not transfer (Nothing did but science made me most frustrated). My favorite class I took this semester was Art and Propaganda so I decided to show you my final project and to say thank you to my dad who helped out tons! Everyone in my class thought they were funny and so do I. In fact many think that we should hang them around campus.. Goes to show I totally go to a church school!

7 Hours Later...
7 Hours Later and I have a HEADACHE! Today has been a very long day and I can say with confidence that the weekend will be just as long. I spent today doing homework I'm proud to say I got my English homework done by 8:30 this morning and was able to finish my Art project by 7 tonight (only taking me about 7 hours to do). It's not even that interesting it's only a picture of fabric I had to show that I understand how to use all the values in the value scale when dealing with shadows and folds stuff like that. It turned out pretty good we'll wait and see what my teacher thinks. I still have quit a few hours of homework for tomorrow but only for American Foundations and Book of Mormon so it shouldn't be to bad and by Sunday I will be able to have a nice day without any homework hanging over my head.

Midterms
I can almost say that I am half way done with the semester! In many ways it's just passing me by but on the other hand I am ready to be done with certain classes. I took another Art History test today I can't say as I could with my last test that I got 100% but I have a good feeling I at least got an A on it! I wish I could say the same for my other classes aka english, american foundations, and book of mormon. After this semester I will never have to take English again but I will still have 2 science classes that I have to take but after that I will only have classes that deal with my major! (besides Religion classes)
I am also excited for a 4 day weekend! Only wish that I could go to Tennessee for my nephew Scott's baby blessing :( I'll just have to make do with doing something else but what??

What I do for Friends
I really should go to bed but I thought I'd do a quick update. First off my callings are FHE Assistant and the other is an Indexer (Family History Stuff). Now on to the real reason I'm writing... I think I need to learn to say no. The only problem with this is that I really do like helping people out but it means I have been staying up till all hours of the night and getting up at the crack of dawn (I'm turning into to Dad). I also believe I rather help other people with their homework because it always sounds better than my own. For example I can now tell you what number can be divided by 2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and only has a remainder of 1, it's also hard to bet me at making a Power Point Presentation cause I add not only animation but sound too, and finally I am a wiz when it comes to being able to make a flyer only using Word in fact if I was taking Visual Media I would have gotten an A on the assignment I did for fun trying to help my friend come up with ideas, but don't worry I'm pretty sure the one I helped him with today will also get an A cause its pretty awesome.
Anyway, I can't complain I really do like helping my friends out I just need to figure out a way that I make it to bed before 2 cause I start school by 8! I will try to continue updating but as far as school goes I can't complain it's going pretty good.

Week Two
Wow! Only week 2. It's weird I feel as if I've been back forever but at the same time classes are zooming bye. It's hard to say but it looks as if this semester might be a good one. I want to thank you all for keeping me in your prayers it's been a difficult couple of years and I'm not saying that this wont be hard but I feel like this semester should be much much better.
Classes are... well classes. I've already learned more in my drawing class than I ever did the entire semester I had to take a drawing class online (who puts art classes online... that's right BYU-ID does). I also love my art history class it's amazing how I can spend hours doing homework for either class and time no longer matters. I Love It!
The rest of my classes are going well. I guess it only took me 5 semesters to figure out how to manage time and figure out the correct ways to study so that I can retain information, or maybe I'm just taking more classes that actually have to do with the major I'm pursuing. Anyway, I'm not nearly as stressed as I have been when it comes to school I've even had time to play with friends and do some of my own art projects!

First Week Done!
I'm sure that you are all waiting to hear how my first week of school went. Well seeing that it was only two days long it wasn't bad at all. Yesterday I had Art History, the second half of Book of Mormon, and English. Not much to say about any of them except that Art History's my favorite class of the day but my Book of Mormon teacher seems really good which makes me really happy Religion classes are hard enough with out a bad teacher.
Today I had American Foundations and Drawing II. American Foundations requires a lot out of us but I think that I can handle it. It's my drawing class that I think will be the most beneficiary to me right now and I'm so excited!

So Far So Good..
Today was my first full day back in Rexburg and classes start tomorrow. First off I just have to say that it has gone so much better than I had expected.
I found a place to live that turned out 10 times better than I had even expected! I have my own room which is a must since last year sharing put me over the edge, and my room has SO MUCH room. Now if any of you have ever been to either BYU or BYU-ID you know that they try to pack as many kids into one apt with as little as space as possible, but my room has a good size desk a large closet with drawers underneath and drawers underneath my bed, and the best part is I have a sink in my room! A sink with a little counter space, full mirror, three drawers, and a cupboard. Some may say thats weird but I think its the best because I don't have to worry about taking to much room or not having enough room in the bathroom plus it totally helps when it comes to painting.
I only have 4 roommates can we say HOORAY!! One is engaged the other is a returned missionary, and the last is a freshman but so far so good. Plus side with having only four roommates... plenty of room in the fridge.
One more thing I was happy about was that I've already meet my Bishopric. They came around this evening to and met with every apt. It was so nice my past Bishopric's would even make an appearance for a couple of weeks. It was nice to be able to ask them a few questions and know that they might actually know who I am by the end of the semester.
Last but not least..... I don't have to sit in on any of my classes because I got into all of them! Not bad for having signed up for classes only two weeks before school started. I'm done with class by 12:30 Mon. and Wed. and by 1:30 Tues. Thurs. with NO CLASSES FRIDAY!
Lets all pray things continue the way it's started!

2010
2010 was one of the hardest years I've had and I wasn't expecting that. But because it was so challenging I've grown, become stronger, and learned so much about myself. Here are 10 things I either did or learned:
1-For starters I changed schools taking a huge leap, leaving one of the best roommates I've ever had, and moving to the middle of nowhere.
2-I learned more about myself such as I have a hard time saying "no" to people causing my own life to get overwhelming and hard to focus on what I need.
3-It's hard to find a job in Rexburg.
4-I don't realize when I get really sick until after the fever breaks. (But afterwards I feel so much better)
5-I don't do well living with 18 year olds.
6-I met some people that without them I wouldn't be able to even think about going back and for that I am grateful.
7-Life never goes as you expect it to.
9-Working where you are allergic to the stuff isn't good for your body.
10- For some reason I'm suppose to go to BYU-ID and so I better embrace Rexburg.
I'm actually looking forward to going to the same school 2 Years in a row!

Augh...My Life
I'll make this short but I thought I would let you all know (since so many of you really care), but I am going back to BYU-ID.
P.S. If you know of anyone needing an apt in provo let me know.

The Decision is Made
It looks like I can't stay in one place more than a year, but at least with this move I will have a Job! I will be working at Nexus with Sara. I will be what is called a "Scanner," I scan all the information into the computer and answer phones. It should be a good and it will be great living close to Will and Sara before they head off to Portland. As for school I will let you guess by the color of the background of where I will be going. I now only need to go to 3 more colleges and I will have gone to every school that my siblings have gone to for there undergrads.

My Crazy Life...
I probably should update my blog because I have a sister that insists that I do (plus I should be doing homework). Anyway, I've been staying busy babysitting for multiple families, working at Great Harvest, School, you know the day to day things, and right now I am learning to knit. I guess I'm not really learning I know how but I've never made anything more then a scarf and I think I want to make a hat.
I've also been busy trying to figure out school and work. I know what I want to major in but many things have changed in the past two weeks that I will blog about later. If you want to know more you can always give me a call, I just want to figure everything out before I blog about it. Yes, it does have to do with a new job and school......

98 95 85 and Sunny

The beginning of this week looked grim. I had 4 art projects, 3 tests, and rain. I some how was able to finish all my art projects. I managed to pull off a 98 on my math test, a 95 on a nutrition test, and an 85 on my finance test! It was a little disappointing that the test I studied the hardest for was the lowest score but over all I was pretty happy to finish this week and as a celebration the weather decided to be in the 70's and sunny!!

The Adventures of the Roommates

.
Last night I hit the point of tired at about 10:30 and by 11:00 I was way past being tired and on to crazy awake and my roommates took full advantage of it! We started off by watching Dr. Horribles sing-a-long Blog, moved on to having a dance party in the Kitchen, to the grand finally of super hero make-up! While one roommate did my make-up the other was trying to interview me about my life growing up in Utah needless to say should have interviewed someone else I live a very boring life. Apparently I wasn't a very rebellious teenager (watching a few episodes of Friends in ninth grade and staying out tell three in the morning Jr. year after finishing up with the musical didn't count). Oh well at least she was able to turn in something.
Here are some pictures of the Super Hero's:

Update
I figure it's about time I updated. I have now been in my fourth semester for 6 complete weeks and 8 more to go! Life has been crazy words can't describe what life has been like. All I can really say is it's a whole lot better than it was at the beginning of the semester. I once again feel like I'm doing the major that is best for me (which is a huge relief there is nothing worse than going to school and not knowing what you should major in).
Not much has changed I still spend most of my time doing homework. I still don't have a job I think the count is up to something like 31 applications! And it doesn't look like things are going to change soon. I almost had a job working with a developmental disabled child or young adult, but I don't have a car to get to Rigby and Rexburg Id has one of the worst bus systems I know of. Although it did make me feel good when the Lady that wanted to hire me tried her hardest to find me a client in Rexburg but no luck. So if you know of any jobs opening in Rexburg let me know.

Semester Three Down.
I've finished my third semester of school and my first at BYU-Id. It's been a long 13 weeks but things are looking up I get a week off, the weather is looking as if it might decided to be spring, and my apartment is very very clean! I managed to survive most of my classes and happy to start my new ones I don't think I could have gone another week with the ones I had.

The Flour Game
Last night we decided to play the flour game. For those who don’t know what the flour game is it goes like this…. You fill a bowl with flour, pack it in, flip it over, take the bowl off so you have a mound of flour, and than drop a dime in the middle. Then each person takes a turn cutting sections of the flour away from the dime. The person that makes the dime drop then has to fish it out with their mouth.(Traz)
(Jordan)
.
(Jordan decided to have a flour fight afterwards)
.
(Me)
.
(Brandi finally got it!)
.
(It's pretty nasty, you can't breath, and it tastes awful.)

The Count Down Begins
3 1/2 weeks tell the semester is done!!!! It's becoming more and more difficult to concentrate on school when everything is getting harder and outside is getting warmer. Today I went for a run outside, peppered (Volleyball) with a roommate, and street surfed for a little while, plus I got most of my homework done before 8. It's been a pretty good day!

Anything but Homework
Today has not been the most productive day for school. Anytime I was about to start homework I felt the need to do something else. I decided I needed to do the dishes, after the dishes I cleared off the counters while clearing off the counters I notices that the faucet and corners between the counter and wall, and between the stove needed a good clean. So than I scrubbed all those places pulling out the stove and pretty much taking a tooth pick to the corners. After which I cleaned off the table, vacuumed, and reorganized our hallway shelf. Then I decided I needed to sweep luckily it didn't need to be mopped since we did have a clean check on Thursday. I than realized I needed to do my laundry or I would have nothing to wear next week. I also reorganized my room, thought maybe I should clean the bathroom but remembered I did that a day and a half ago so I just wiped it done. Than I drew pictures on our white board. Finally I decided I really should do homework only after I take a shower. Once I finally got all situated to do homework my roommates came home and a half hour later Traz came over and we ended up playing games.
I guess the moral of this story is Caitlyn can no longer stay home when homework needs to get done.
